SignCenter prints exclusively on Coveris (formerly Intelicoat) Siena 200 photo printing papers with gloss or lustre finish. For highest quality output these papers are printed at 2400 x 1200 dpi on our HP z6800 aqueous printer using 8 colors of ink that include 3 shades of black and chromatic red. HP rates these inks as having a fade resistant durability of 200 years. The Siena 200 papers have a thickness of 8 mil or .008″.
For jobs that require good quality, but not photo level output, SIgnCenter uses a range of heavyweight printing papers depending upon the application. For high quality aqueous output we use the Sihl IJ TrueColor Matte 180 gsm (approx. 50#) paper. For more durable applications we print Coveris GFIOP140 or 212 Latex-Saturated Wet-Strength Paper on our latex printers. The GFIOP140 has a caliper of 6 mil, and the GFIOP212 has a caliper of 9.9 mil.
Archival Giclee prints are produced on Coveris Museo® Max 250gsm 100% cotton paper. This acid-free paper has a thickness of .015″ and a brightness of 91 with no optical brighteners. SignCenter also offers Artist Canvas for prints on canvas.
